Doug Patrick, OHST, RSO Written Programs Specialist
Doug joined CSTC® in 2002 and is our Written Programs Specialist. He spends a substantial amount of time nosing his way through regulations and compliance directives to assure CSTC has the most up-to-date information to pass along to our clients.
Doug specializes in Process Safety Management and all of its assorted aspects (including process Hazard Analyses, Compliance Audits, Standard Operating Procedures, etc.) He also writes the vast majority of our training programs, including monthly classes and specialized programs (Landfill Operations Safety, Dive Plans, etcetera) as well as the "standard" programs like Injury & Illness Prevention, Emergency Response, HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), Food Production Safety...and the list goes on. He was even called upon by an agricultural equipment manufacturer to write safety procedures for a new type of farm equipment.
Doug spends quite a bit of time teaching, enjoying many one-on-one relationships with our clients. Someone in a class once asked Doug once if he was qualified to teach the class. His response: "I should be. I wrote the program."
Doug also performs Safety Walk-Through inspections and audits, as well as Accident Investigations... and everything else CSTC throws his way.
