This four to six-hour course covers the general requirements and safety rules on how to inspect and test wood poles prior to climbing.  Types of ladders (both portable and fixed) will be discussed, as will: towers, buildings, overhead hazards, and fall protection.  The hands-on version of this course lasts six hours, whereas the straight classroom version is four hours.
